West Virginia Bills Pile Up Against Kratom

Yet another West Virginia bill was introduced Jan. 23, 2018, HB 4263. This bill would ban mitragynine, 7-hydroxymitragynine as a Hallucinogenic substance. This is the fourth bill introduced to committee, SB 2 (January 10, 2018), SB 273 (January 15, 2018), House bill 4003 (January 12,2018).  All these bills place kratom on the state’s Schedule 1.
